Worship Leading Dudley began playing the guitar at the age of 14 when he began leading the singing for his Baptist youth group and school Student Christian Association. By the early 1980’s he was headed up the worship ministry for an Assemblies of God church in Pretoria, South Africa. Gradually Dudley gained more experience in this ministry and, as God opened opportunities for him to meet other leading worship leaders, he progressively gained more experience until he was appointed music director for a large church near Johannesburg. Leading two worship bands, he gained valuable experience in the performing arts ministries, worship leading and worship team management. Dudley has published articles on contemporary praise and worship and has interviewed several well known worship leaders such as Martin Smith, Noel Richards and Darlene Zschech for his radio programmes. He has helped develop local church worship teams and coached a number of worship leaders. |
