Galatians 5:16
So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

Jesus is the blueprint of God for your life. The Bible says that we have all sinned and corrupted his perfect, righteous image in which we were originally created. Indeed, God sent us the Law of Moses, but it was rendered powerless in that it was weakened by our sinful nature. Therefore, he sent Jesus, his only begotten Son, to reconcile us to himself. Because Jesus is God in the flesh, he was and is perfectly sinless. Even so, God’s plan was to allow Jesus to take the curse of sin upon himself when he died for us on the cross. You see, God imputed Jesus with your sin at Calvary so that you could be imputed with his righteousness through repentance and by faith. Only in Christ can you become the righteousness of God. Jesus in you is God’s original plan for your life.

Many people think that they need to work really hard to earn God’s favour, but this is impossible. God is so holy and so righteous that we would need to become as righteous as he is in order to earn his favour. But Jesus is already as righteous as God, because Jesus is God. Therefore, to be holy as God is holy, you and I need to intentionally repent of sin and then live our lives by faith. The moment you truly admit to your failings, you die to the old nature of sin. Then, the moment you truly exercise faith in Jesus, you begin to live by God’s righteousness.

Jesus told us to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. When you asked Jesus into your life, God’s righteousness was imputed into your spirit-man; that is, you were implanted with God’s goodness. When you seek God’s righteousness, you are actually seeking to live by the newly created spirit-man within you and not the flesh-man on the outside.

Therefore, to know and walk according to the plans of God; to live by his righteousness and kingdom principles, you and I need to learn to live out the newly created inner nature. God does have a great and perfect blueprint for your life, but you will only discover his plans by living by the Spirit, in faith.

God-tracking is faithfully living by God’s righteous blueprint.

Don’t Give Up, Look Up & Pray

“I claim your plans for my life as I choose to live by your blueprint and not by my own selfish ambitions.”

“Dear God, thank you so much that Jesus took my sin upon himself at Calvary so that I can be forgiven and cleansed. Thank you that you have given me new life in Christ, and renewed a right spirit within me. I praise you that it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me. Therefore, the life I live in the flesh I live by faith in your righteousness. Jesus is the blueprint of your goodness by which I stand. So, I claim your plans for my life as I choose to live by your blueprint and not by my own selfish ambitions. For your glory. Amen.”
