“Have confidence in the Lord
your God. Pray without ceasing and do not lose heart. It may seem that God has
not heard your knock but he has.”
Luke 18:1
Then
he spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart
Jesus said, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” No one knocks once at a door. If you approach a door and know the occupant is home you might knock with 4 or 5 taps and wait. If the door is not opened you would inevitably knock again. That’s what prayer is. Prayer is knocking at the door of heaven until the Lord Almighty, who hears your knock, opens the door to your request. And your Father who is in heaven gives good things to those who ask him. He will open the door. Jesus went on to say, “To him who knocks it will be opened.”
Never give up on
prayer in your life. Prayer is the gateway to Father’s heart. Abba Father loves
my prayers as much as I love it when my children chat with me. It may appear
that things don’t change when you pray but never stop asking, seeking and
knocking. Jesus once told a parable of a widow who sought judgment from a certain
judge but the judge did not respond to her. However, because she persisted in
her appeal to him, he finally answered her call.
Have confidence in the Lord your God. Pray without ceasing and do not lose
heart. It may seem that God has not heard your knock but he has. His ways are
not like our ways and his thoughts are not like our thoughts. God’s timing is
always perfect. So, don’t stop knocking.
God-tracking is knocking without ceasing.

SO,
DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY
“Dear Lord, I continue to pray without ceasing. You have promised that everyone
who asks receives.”
“Dear Lord, I
sometimes feel like I’m asking you the same thing over and over. I will never
understand your thoughts or your timing but I do understand this: your word
says you are faithful and you will do it. So, I will continue to knock on
heaven’s door. Dear Lord, I continue to bring my prayers and petitions to you.
O Lord, meet my need and answer my knock. I seek your will with all my heart. I
know you will meet all my needs according to your riches in glory. I pray
without ceasing. You have promised that everyone who asks receives. I claim
your word in my situation. Amen.”

What is GodTracker?
GodTracker is a weekly e-mail Christian motivational thought, written by
Dudley Anderson, based on the premise that God has a plan for our lives. His
Word calls us to seek his plan by acknowledging him in all our ways and by
tracking his purposes, in faith. Most of what you’ll read is based upon the
author’s personal experience of tracking the plans of God.
