“Renew
your mind and transform your thinking while rejoicing in the joy of the Lord,
always. Then your gearbox will direct the power of your engine to drive your
wheels seamlessly so that you will remain on track with the perfect will of
God.”
Isaiah 61:3
To
console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
I then clicked my remote and a picture of the inner workings of a motor car popped up on the screen showing the vehicle’s drivetrain from the engine through the gearbox to the rear wheels. “Notice this car has three parts to its makeup,” I explained. “The engine is where the power resides, the wheels are what touch the ground and move the car. However, the wheels will not function unless the car is in gear. The gearbox is the middle of the drivetrain.
“You are like this car. Your spirit is like the engine, your body is like the wheels and your soul is like the gearbox,” I explained. “Your spirit is renewed by the Holy Spirit when you are born again. He becomes the source of your power. Your soul comprises your mind – your intellect, creativity, will, emotions, etc. Now notice if the car’s gearbox runs dry, that is, if it runs out of oil, it will grind and the wheels won’t turn. Likewise, if your soul – your middleman – runs dry then your life will come to a standstill. Your soul can run dry when you suffer anxiety, fear and negative emotions. Therefore, I say to you today, keep your soul lubricated with the oil of joy. The Lord rejoices over you with singing. The joy of the Lord is your strength. So, keep your gearbox lubricated with the oil of joy so that your wheels will turn smoothly.”
Dear GodTracker, as you desire to track God’s plans for your life, take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. Don the helmet of salvation and take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Renew your mind and transform your thinking while rejoicing in the joy of the Lord, always. Then your gearbox will direct the power of your engine to drive your wheels seamlessly so that you will remain on track with the perfect will of God.
God-tracking is being lubricated by the joy of the Lord.
IT’S ALL IN THE BIBLE. READ ALL ABOUT IT. (NKJV)

SO, DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY
“Your joy, O Lord, is my strength.”
“O Father God, thank you for how you created me. I commit my whole self – spirit, soul and body – to you. I acknowledge that Jesus is my Lord and Saviour. Therefore, your Holy Spirit lives in my spirit. My spirit is the engine that powers my life by your Holy Spirit. I choose now to renew my mind and take every negative thought captive and make it obedient to Christ and I put on the helmet of salvation. Thank you that you rejoice over me like a loving father. Your joy, O Lord, is my strength. Amen.”

What is GodTracker?
GodTracker is a weekly e-mail Christian motivational thought, written by Dudley Anderson, based on the premise that God has a plan for our lives. His Word calls us to seek his plan by acknowledging him in all our ways and by tracking his purposes, in faith. Most of what you’ll read is based upon the author’s personal experience of tracking the plans of God.
