Dear God Tracker
God-Tracking Requires Step-By-Step Faith
Bev approached me after church one morning and asked for prayer for her future. She had recently finished school and was waiting on God for her next move. Was she to go to university or was she to get a job? “And what about marriage?” she asked me. “How will I know when the right guy comes along? I’m really confused and don’t know which way to turn.”
As I prayed for Bev I received a distinct picture in my mind from the Lord. I saw her standing at the start of a long winding path, except she could not see the path at all as it was covered in thick dust. Bev had no idea where the path was or which way it led. In my mind’s eye I saw her looking down at the ground immediately beneath her feet, where the path was visible. Just then I saw the dust blow away in a patch in front of her right foot in a way that exposed only a very small area. As the dust cleared I noticed a well paved spot of pathway, just large enough for one foot. In my vision I saw Bev lift her foot and step out onto the now clearly visible path. However, there was only room for one step until, through prayer and God-seeking, another patch of pathway was cleared so that she could take her next step. The process continued until I saw Bev walking confidently step by step along the path exposed by the breath of the Lord as she prayed and walked in faith. I shared this with Bev and immediately she knew what to do.
God-tracking requires step-by-step faith. The begging question is how long is my pathway? The answer: only God knows. Therefore, in order to successfully walk along the path of life we need to be willing to patiently take one step at a time, as the Lord himself clears the way in his time. Only God knows our beginning from our end. Only he has the foreknowledge of our destiny. Only by his foreknowledge does he choose us to serve him, and that according to his purposes. As I continue to acknowledge the Lord in all my ways he will make my paths straight. And this I do through prayer and God-seeking.
Gladly Bev received the word from the Lord I gave her that day and took her first step in faith. She latter shared with me that the initial spot on her pathway that was cleared by the Lord’s breath was for her to register at university for a nursing degree. I’m very happy to report today that Bev is happily married and, after successfully achieving her degree, she is serving the Lord through her career as a qualified nurse.
God-tracking is walking God’s pathway, step by step.
God bless
Dudley

Verse of the Week
Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Quote of the Week
A Sample of Dudley’s Fave Quotes.
“Live ready. If you have to get ready when the opportunity comes your way, you are too late. Opportunity does not wait, not even when you pray. You must not have to get ready; you must live ready.” --- Smith Wigglesworth
Don’t Give-up, Look-up!
Look-up and Fix Your Eyes On Jesus!
I’m at Your Disposal
2 Corinthians 5:7
We live by faith, not by sight.
Pray
“My Lord I admit to you that I am confused. I still don’t know where to turn next. What is it you want me to do? I see opportunity but I’m unsure that it’s right for me. Therefore, I choose now to acknowledge you in this and every new opportunity that comes my way. I ask you to clear my pathway, step-by-step that I my know where to put my foot down. My confidence is in the fact that you know my every step and my every pathway. So I boldly step out and make the most of every opportunity by faith and not by sight. I’m at your disposal, Lord. Amen.
