1 Chronicles 16:34 (NIV)
Give thanks to the LORD,
for he is good; his love endures forever.
The ancient writings of the Bible tell us that God is the Creator of the universe, including mankind. It’s not my intention to debate creation vs evolution here, but suffice to say that we all agree that the universe came into existence at one finite point in time. Since then, the whole universe has been in constant variation (probably as a result of the fall of mankind). The question that remains is what existed before that initial creative point? We believe that God has always existed – he is eternal and encompasses the timeline of infinity. The Bible says that God is and was and is to come. That is, he is constantly present. It also says that Jesus (who is God) is the same yesterday, today and forever. In other words, the Lord Almighty is the only true, reliable universal constant in the equations of life.
Do you feel that there are too many variables in your life inhibiting your hope for the future? Do you feel so frustrated with the many ups and downs you’re going through that you don’t know whether you’re coming or going? Are you longing for stability and consistency in your career, your relationships and your peace of mind? Well then, here’s the good news: the Lord your God is your one true constant in life. He is faithful and his love endures forever. He is dependable, trustworthy and consistent. His love for you endures your hardships, your difficulties, your disappointments and your losses. His love for you bears your frustrations, your failings and your flaws. All else in life may shift like variable quantities in those scientific equations, but God’s love for you will remain constant forever. As Hannah Smith said, “Nothing can separate you from God's love, absolutely nothing. God is enough for time; God is enough for eternity. God is enough!”
God-tracking is constantly relying on his consistent love.

Don’t Give Up, Look Up & Pray
“I believe that you will help me through my upheavals and balance the variables in my life.”
“Dear God Almighty, I want to truly thank you for your consistent love for me. I know now that your faithful love endures all my hardships and my failings. I am sorry, O Lord, for taking my eyes off your constant presence in my life. Today, I put my confidence in your constancy and declare that you are the one and only true constant in my life. Help me to face my ups and downs in the knowledge that your love and your faithfulness never change. I believe that you will help me through my upheavals and balance the variables in my life. Thank you, Lord. Amen.”
