GOD-TRACKING IS A LIFESTYLE OF PRAISE
Hebrews 13:15
Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.

In his book, Prison to Praise, Merlin Carothers shares how praise is related to prayer. He says that when we praise God for a need met, instead of begging him to answer our prayers, we make a faith leap from simply hoping for an answer to the affirmative certainty of needs met. I believe this is true. You see, the God we serve is eternal. This means that he is not restrained by space and time, as we are. Our Lord is already at the point where our needs are met long before we arrive. Therefore, when we praise God for needs met we are proclaiming the reality of our already answered prayer.
So, dear GodTracker, let’s turn our prayer times into praise times. Let’s make a habit of speaking praises to God at every opportunity. Let’s use words like, praise the Lord, praise God, thank you Jesus and hallelujah as part of our everyday vocabulary. The more we speak out praises to God the more we will experience his presence in our lives. The more we speak out praises to God the more other people will see Jesus in our eyes. So, come into his presence with thanksgiving and live in his courts with praise. Remember, God inhabits the praises of his people.

DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY
Lord, help me to live a lifestyle of worship and get into a habit of praise
“Praise your name, o Lord. I will give you all honour and praise that your name is due. May my whole life be a sacrifice of praise to you. Dear Lord, I present all the needs in my life to you with thanksgiving. I praise you for answering my prayers even before I see my needs met. Praise you for the problems in my life, because through them I shall see the power of God manifest. Lord, help me to live a lifestyle of worship and get into a habit of praise. Amen.”
