Dear God-tracker

I once discovered the wonderful truth that God has a plan for each of our lives. As the scripture says, “I know the plans I have for you.” The truth of this statement is it is indeed, God who knows the plans he has for us but we don’t; not until he reveals them to us, that is. God-tracking, therefore, involves the process of seeking and tracking God’s plans for our lives.

Fifteen years ago I produced a radio programme for Christian Voice International called, On-Track. The programme was a music show heard by millions of people across Africa and featured thoughts, interviews and discussions based on tracking the plans that God has for our lives. As an off-shoot of On-Track this e-mail devotional, trACker was founded. Now, twelve years later, I am launching the first in a series of books featuring 52 weekly devotional highlights from the trACkers published over these years.

Help me to always remain on-track with your will as I trust in you without leaning on my own understanding

“Dear God, I want to thank you for the wonderful plans you have for me. I make a conscious decision to continue to acknowledge you in all I do and believe, therefore, that you will direct the tracks of my life according to your plans for me. I place my confidence squarely in the truths of your Word and the fellowship of your Holy Spirit. Help me to always remain on-track with your will as I trust in you without leaning on my own understanding. Amen.”
