The Lord has not forgotten you and has not forgotten his promises to you. He who promised is faithful and he will be faithful to you as you faithfully continue to trust Him.”

Hebrews 10:36
For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise

There are myriad Christian brothers and sisters enduring persecution around the world: homes ransacked, families ostracised, churches raised to the ground, men and women beaten, abused and killed for the simple belief that Jesus, the Son of God, is the Way, the Truth and the Life. A sad reality that has existed since the foundation of the Church of Jesus Christ. Paul the apostle was insulted, stoned and imprisoned for his confession of Jesus as Lord and Saviour. As he exhorted us to pray for him while he was an ambassador in chains, so we pray for those who are suffering for their faith today.

You may not find yourself in such a predicament. However, you may be enduring difficulty or strife under circumstances not of your making. As with those who are persecuted for their faith, we know that our opponent is no man. Rather, we battle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. That is, our fight is with Satan, not man. In fact, Jesus commanded us to love our enemies and do good to those who persecute us. So, put on the full armour of God and prayerfully take your stand against your real enemy. He is a defeated foe. Jesus triumphed over him at Calvary.

Patient endurance is what you need today so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. Whatever you are facing, don’t give up, look up and keep tracking God’s plans for your life. Now is the time for stickability and patient endurance. The Lord has not forgotten you and has not forgotten his promises to you. He who promised is faithful and he will faithfully strengthen you as you faithfully continue to trust Him.

God-tracking is faithful endurance.

SO, DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY

“Help me to love those who insult me while I don the whole armour of God and take my stand against the real enemy of my soul.”

“Dear Lord, I find myself in a predicament today. I don’t know which way to turn. Opposition has come against me from every angle and I’m exhausted from trying to withstand the attack. So, I surrender now to your faithful grace and seek your strength to endure. I know it’s not going to be by my might or power that I will overcome but only by the power of your Holy Spirit in me. Help me to love those who insult me while I don the whole armour of God and take my stand against the real enemy of my soul. Amen!”
