Dear God-tracker
God tracking is a faith
venture!
The
scripture tells us that we are saved by grace through faith. It also says that God has a plan for our
lives if we seek him. And seeking God requires faith. Faith discovers the
rewards of the plans of God. Listen: “And without faith
it is impossible to please God, anyone who comes to him must believe that he
exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
A few years back I was in a church where a lady had contracted
cancer. She immediately followed a chemo-therapy programme and began to improve.
However, after a few weeks she began to regress until she was bed-ridden and
ultimately died. All through these gruelling months the church prayed fervently
for her. Anointing her with oil we laid hands on her and claimed God’s
supernatural touch. All along we walked in faith. Faith is the substance of
what we hoped for and we hoped for her healing so we operated in faith. Yet she
died. Did we fail? Did we not have enough faith? Should we have stopped praying
for healing? I believe the answer to these questions is a resounding no. The scriptures compel us to always
pray for healing and walk in faith until the very last moment. Anything less
than walking in faith (no matter what the outcome) would be a failure. Why?
Because faith pleases God!
Prayer activates faith. Therefore to do anything less than to pray
for the sick or pray for a need of any sort would displease God, and the one
thing I want to do most in my life is to please my God. God’s wisdom and his
purposes are beyond our own human reason. God has foreknowledge of our lives. This
is why we walk by faith in his plans and purposes for us. He always knows best
and if we take him at faith-value then whatever the outcome it is for our good.
So, if you are waiting on God for an answer to your prayers then be encouraged
to continue praying and walking in faith, because God tracking is a faith
venture!

What is
trACker?
GodTracker and trACker owe their origins to an international
Christian radio programme produced by Dudley Anderson called, OnTrack. Although
OnTrack went off-air in 2005, trACker has continued to help people to track
God's plans and purposes for their lives since July 2003.

Don’t Give Up, Look Up!
Look up and
Fix Your Eyes on Jesus!
I trust that you will meet every need I have
according to your plans and purposes for my life
Pray:
“O Lord I am sorry for lagging off in
my prayer life. I realise that prayer is an act of faith and faith pleases you,
so I repent of displeasing my God. Hear me now as I pray in faith for my needs.
Lord, I trust that you will meet every need I have according to your plans and
purposes for my life. I will seek you in faith and trust that you will reward
me in a way that will benefit my life. I trust you in all I do. Thank you for
your power to heal and provide. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
