You are his excellent masterpiece. Only be patient, excellence takes time. His refinement yields brilliance.”

Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Leonardo da Vinci began painting the famous Mona Lisa in 1503, and it was discovered in his studio when he died in 1519. In all probability it took the famed artist more than a decade to produce his masterpiece. Excellence takes time. Refinement yields brilliance. You are God’s masterpiece. He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion, though it may take some time.

If you’re anything like me, your canvas may be a little torn on the edges and stained. But the Artist is not looking for a clean pristine canvas on which to produce his work of art; he is looking for a canvas that has character and meaning. He will turn your raw image into his work of genius if you will only allow him to work on your canvas in his time.

The scriptures tell us that God has a plan for our lives. We read that he chose us in him before the creation of the world. It says in Psalms that all the days ordained for us were written in his book before one of them came to be. Almighty Creator is working on his masterpiece of you with exactitude and excellence.

The God of peace who raised Jesus from the dead will make you complete in every good work to do his will. Through Jesus, he is working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight. The Holy Spirit is raising you up to be a spiritual entity, that is, a thing with distinct and independent character and existence. You are his excellent masterpiece. Only be patient, excellence takes time. His refinement yields brilliance.

God-tracking is being patient while God paints your life.

SO, DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY

“Dear Lord, make me complete in every good work to do your will.”

“O Lord my God, I praise you that you have a design for my life. Thank you that you don’t require me to clean up my life before you begin painting your masterpiece of me. I know I’m saved by your grace, through faith, and not the works of my hands. Forgive me for being hasty. I choose to be patient and submit to your refinement now. Dear Lord, make me complete in every good work to do your will. Amen.”
