1 Corinthians 9:24
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.

Life can feel like a treadmill – round and round yet getting nowhere. It’s so easy to become caught up in the routine of Christian living and church. It’s only when we meet someone who is new to the faith and who’s hanging on every word, the Holy Spirit quickens to his heart that we realise that we’ve been treading the treadmill of Christian living and become indifferent to the presence of Jesus.

Your Lord has fresh blessings for you. So why not return to your first love and run with the zeal you had when you first came to know Jesus? Hang on to every word you read and every utterance of the Holy Spirit. God is gracious and compassionate; slow to anger and abounding in loving-kindness. His mercies are new every morning. So, turn from apathy and complacency and run the race with your eyes firmly set on Jesus.

God-tracking is never becoming complacent on the road of Christian living.
