Dear God-tracker

GOD-TRACKING IS PUTTING YOUR ASSURANCE IN GOD’S PARAMOUNT WILL

Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

God-tracking is all about walking within the will of God. In the prayer Jesus taught us to pray he said, “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” God is high and exalted. He is our Sovereign Majesty, his character is supreme, his power unlimited and his will is paramount. When we pray for God’s will to be done we’re handing over complete free reign to God to work in our lives as he chooses. Author and Bible teacher, Kay Arthur says it like this, “The will of God for your life is simply that you submit yourself to him each day and say, ‘Father, your will for today is mine. Your pleasure for today is mine. Your work for today is mine. I trust you to be God. You lead me today and I will follow.’”

I believe, without doubt, that God does have plans and purposes for our lives. Through Christ, God has rescued us from the clutches of sin and death. We are saved through grace by faith to become his workmanship. When we choose to put our faith in his grace (and remember, grace is God’s doing), he will work all things out in our lives – good and bad – according to his will. God knows all things. He knows our past our present and our future, so let us acknowledge his knowledge in all our ways and trust that he will direct our paths according to his perfect will for our lives.

And here’s God’s will for you, from Psalm 91:

•    He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty
•    For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence
•    He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler
•    You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday
•    A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you
•    For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways
•    On their hands, they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone
•    You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot
•    “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name.
•    “When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honour him
•    “With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

It takes a mind shift to track the will of God; a shift from the natural to the supernatural. This shift can only be achieved through prayer and God’s Word. So, renew your heart and your mind by filling it with the Word of God. God’s Word is God’s will. Do this and you will test and approve his perfect plan for your life.

Every blessing
