GOD-TRACKING IS EVERY NEW BATTLE AS MORE THAN A CONQUEROR

The e-devotional helping to keep you on track with God’s plans for your life. GodTracker is published at http://godtracker.co.uk

Jesus made a public spectacle of all the forces of darkness when he triumphed over them at the cross. Then he handed that victory to anyone who would call on his name.”

Romans 8:37
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us

When Joshua crossed over the Jordan River to conquer Canaan under command to possess God’s promises he was confronted by a formidable opponent. Jericho was a solidly fortified city and was shut up so securely that none could enter or leave the city. Joshua had been encouraged by the Lord to be strong and courageous for he would lead God’s people to inherit the Promised Land. With these words still ringing in his ears, he faced fortified Jericho.

God gave Joshua a very strange battle plan. God’s plan involved conquering Jericho by simply marching around its walls while praising his name. If Joshua did this then the city would be delivered into his hands. He obeyed God’s command and miraculously those hugely fortified walls simply collapsed in a heap at the sound of the praises of the God of Israel. Joshua was triumphant! He was more than a conqueror, because the Lord had fought the battle of Jericho for him.

Another great battle occurred more than a thousand years later. One lone man faced the impenetrable city of God’s righteousness. Because of the fall of mankind, the Promised Land of God’s riches were shut up securely. But God had a plan to fight the fight on our behalf. Through the humble death of Jesus Christ on the cross the walls separating us from the promises of God collapsed in a heap!

Because of God’s grace through the victory of Jesus, you and I have attained free access to the wonderful riches of the eternal Promised Land. Because of what Jesus did at Calvary we have gained victory over sin, Satan and death itself! Jesus made a public spectacle of all the forces of darkness when he triumphed over them at the cross. Then he handed that victory to anyone who would call on his name. Through Christ’s victory, we have been made more than conquerors!

So, the next time you face life’s battlefield remember to be strong and courageous. Possess God’s promises to you today with his praises on your lips.

God-tracking is facing every new battle as more than a conqueror.

It’s all in the Book…

DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY

I declare that, in Christ, I am more than a conqueror and will march right in to take the promises of God

“Dear God, I’m facing problems again in my life. Thank you for the many times you have delivered me in the past. Today I choose to remember those times and put my faith in you to do it again. Like Joshua facing Jericho, I want to march right up to my opponent and declare the praises of God. Praise God! I will stand strong in the victory of Jesus at Calvary with, my face towards the Light. Satan was defeated at the cross. I declare that, in Christ, I am more than a conqueror and will march right in to take the promises of God. Amen.”
