“Whatever you’re facing today put your hope in God’s plans and watch for his every movement. He will make known to you the path of life; in his presence there is fullness of joy. God’s presence gives you power for purpose!”
Psalm 16:11
You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures for
evermore.
The prophet Isaiah was a man who knew well the meaning of God-tracking. As a cousin to king Uzziah, he was born to a privileged position in Jerusalem. Yet Isaiah most definitely did not rely on his royal heritage for purpose in his life. On the contrary, during the reigns of three subsequent kings, he was to prove himself to be quite the thorn in the flesh of his royal relatives as they attempted to lead Judea into foreign elegance. He believed that the Lord God had a clear plan for Jerusalem to maintain autonomy and mirror his glory at a time of greyed-out borders. One man against a whole parliament (or royal court) and yet he was strong, consistent and sure of God’s presence. How did he do it?
Isaiah said, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” In some translations, the word “hope” is translated as “wait”. Both words imply remaining in the Lord’s presence as you track his will. You see, it is only out of the presence of God – by the Word and the Spirit – that strength, power and hope for purpose will come to you. Waiting on the Lord and standing his ground against all odds, Isaiah became one of the greatest prophets of God.
Whatever you’re facing today put your hope in God’s plans and watch for his every movement. He will make known to you the path of life; in his presence, there is fullness of joy. God’s presence gives you power for purpose!
God-tracking is walking his path of life by living in his presence.

SO, DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY
In your presence is fulness of joy and the joy of the Lord is my strength
"Forgive me Lord for relying on my own strength and my own abilities as I face the difficulties in my life. I change my thinking now to focus on your Spirit with me. I know you will never forsake me, even as I navigate these difficulties. I rest in your presence and put my faith in the plan you know you have for my life. In your presence is fulness of joy and the joy of the Lord is my strength. Amen.
