“Indeed, if you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You were born by his purpose and for his purpose.”
Psalm 138:8
The
Lord will work out his plans for my life
Rick Warren writes, “The purpose of your life is far greater than your personal fulfilment, your peace of mind or even your happiness. It’s far greater than your family, your career or even your wildest dreams and ambitions. If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You were born by his purpose and for his purpose.”
God has a plan for your life. His plan is to give you a future filled with hope and peace. God’s plan is to open doors for you to be successful in your career, your relationship and your church life. His plan for you was designed before you were even born. Your God is omniscient – he knows all things about all things – and he knew you while you were yet in your mother’s womb.
God is faithful and he will work out his plan for your life. He will never abandon you or let go of your hand. What he has started in you, he will bring to completion in his time and in his way. It's God who is watching over his plan for your life; his word will not return to him without producing the purposes he intended.
So hold on tightly to the promises of God and never let go! When the devil levels his best at you and you fail in your personal fulfilment or lose your peace of mind, stand up strong, dressed in the whole amour of God and declare, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” God’s purposes for you are far greater than your wildest ambitions and far greater than Satan’s distractions because greater is he who lives within you than he who lives within the world.
Seek the Lord daily. Acknowledge him in every part of your life. Trust him unwaveringly to bring his plan together for your life’s purpose. Indeed, if you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You were born by his purpose and for his purpose.

“Dear Lord, fulfil your purposes in my life.”
“Heavenly God,
thank you that you knew my name before I was even born. Thank you that all my
days were fashioned for me before one of them came to be. I hand over my
ambitions and my dreams to you. I acknowledge you in every aspect of my life –
my relationships, my work, my recreation and my church life. I trust that your
plans will come to fruition in your way and in your time. I believe your
purpose for my life is far greater than anything I could ever dream. Dear Lord,
fulfil your purposes in my life. Amen.”
