1 Thessalonians 5:24
He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.

GodTracker is founded on the principle of seeking and tracking the plans of God. It is based on the Scripture that tells us that God knows the plans he has for us, plans for a future filled with hope and purpose. Every Christian believer has a personal relationship with God through Jesus. This is why we call him our personal Lord and Saviour. Through the intimate fellowship of the Holy Spirit, we can enjoy walking in God’s personal plans for our lives. Be encouraged to seek God’s purposes alone. It’s when we venture to make our own plans that we deviate from the holy and blessed purposes of God.

Abraham had a God-given purpose. God had called him from his home to settle in a faraway land called Canaan. God gave Abraham a promise saying, “I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you.” Though Abraham was over 90 years old and his wife was barren, God promised him that he would become a dad. God knew the plans he had for Abraham, plans for a future filled with hope and purpose.

However, since his wife, Sarah, was barren and old, Abraham became impatient and made his own plan to fulfil God’s purpose. Thus, Ishmael was born of Sarah’s maidservant (a custom acceptable in those days). Later, God fulfilled his promise to Abraham when Sarah became pregnant with Isaac. Sadly, because Abraham pre-empted the purpose of God by making his own plans, the descendants of Ishmael became enemies of the descendants of Isaac.

Be encouraged to always trust the plans that God knows he has for you. Acknowledge the Lord in all your ways and refuse to make your own plans to fulfil God’s purposes. As we see in Abraham’s case, the plans of man will always be in opposition to the plans of God. So, trust the plans of God without relying on your own insight. He who promised is faithful and he will do it. And that’s what God-tracking is all about.

God-tracking is trusting the plans and purposes of God.

SO, DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY

“You are faithful, Lord, and I believe your plans will work out for my future filled with hope and purpose.”

“Dear Lord, I know and believe that you have glorious plans for my life. I confess Jesus to be my personal Lord and Saviour and therefore, trust that the plans you have for me are personal and for my good. Forgive me for making my own plans or pre-empting your plans by jumping to conclusions. I acknowledge you, O Lord, in all my ways and trust you to fulfil your purposes in my life according to your plans and not mine. You are faithful, Lord, and I believe your plans will work out for my future filled with hope and purpose. Amen.”

“God’s word to you today is to step away, step back and allow God to fulfil the plans that he knows he has for you. His promises are always yes in Jesus.”

Matthew 6:10
Your kingdom come. Your will be done.

Sarai was a beautiful woman. She was married to an influential man. Abram had migrated with his family and company many miles across arid desert regions and had taken up residence in a new land. Before leaving, God, who he had not before known, appeared to him and gave him a promise that he would be the father of nations. He was confused at this promise since his lovely wife, Sarai, was unable to have children. Yet Abram believed the Lord God Almighty who had revealed himself to him.

Many years later, well past the age of childbearing, God sent angels to Abram, now called Abraham, to reaffirm his promise. When Sarai, now called Sarah, heard the angels, she laughed because she knew how impossible it would be for her to have a baby. But her husband continued to believe in God’s promise. Abraham was the father of faith.

More time passed. Abraham and his lovely wife were now very old. Desperate to realise God’s promise, Sarah made a plan. She suggested Abraham sleep with her maidservant to produce offspring for her (a custom common at that time). Abraham was convinced. And so, Ishmael was born. By their own plan, they filled God’s promise, or so they thought. But God is always true to his word. Abraham was nearly100-years old when Sarah gave birth to the promised child. They named him Isaac, which means laughter because they were delighted by God’s humour to grant them a child at such an age.

We know the story well, how Isaac was the father of the Jewish nation of which Jesus, the Messiah, was born. God’s plan was not only for Abraham to be blessed and realise God’s promises, but for you and me, today in the 21st century, to realise the promise of God to bless the world through the offspring of Abraham.

Whose plan will you follow? God has made his will clear to you. You know that he has great plans for you – plans for peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. And yet, as I do and Abraham did, you have made your own plans to fulfil God’s promises. God’s word to you today is to step away, step back and allow God to fulfil the plans that he knows he has for you. His promises are always yes in Jesus.

God-tracking is following God’s plans, not your own.

“I step away from my own designs and choose to put my faith in your will, however long it may take to come to fruition.”

“Dear Lord, forgive me for making my own plans instead of waiting for you to fulfil your plans in my life. I know you have a plan and a purpose for me to serve you and be an influence in my world, as Abraham was in his. So, today, I step away from my own designs and choose to put my faith in your will, however long it may take to come to fruition. Your will be done in my life. Amen.”
