“Satan, the enemy of God’s plans, will do all
he can to prevent you from following your God-given purpose. Nonetheless, in
the end, God will make sure that what needs to happen will happen.”
2 Chronicles 15:7 (NIV)
But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be
rewarded.
I recently endured an attack on my calling and ministry that left me reeling. It had great potential to derail me from the plans of God for my life. This attack affected my marriage, my finances as well as my career. Until that point in my life, I was enjoying a stable occupation and a rewarding ministry. Then, in one foul sweep, all the wheels came off. I was emotionally threadbare and disillusioned with my call to ministry. The enemy had a plot to derail me but God had a plan to keep me on track.
The scripture makes it plain; you and I have all been called according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will. God has a plan for you. His plan is to use you to interact, impact and influence people to find purpose in the plans of God. God has a plan for every person on earth to come to the knowledge of his overflowing grace by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord. Sadly, however, many will reject God’s message of grace. Only he knows who will respond to his call to salvation but we do not know who will respond. Therefore, it is God’s plan for you and me to be willing to give an answer to everyone who asks about the reason for the hope that is in us. However, Satan, the enemy of God’s plans, will do all he can to prevent you from following your God-given purpose. Nonetheless, in the end, God will make sure that what needs to happen will happen. So, be strong and courageous, your work will be rewarded.
By the grace of God, I kept my eyes on Jesus, when things began to unravel in my life and work. Since then, by the grace of God, he has opened the door for me to touch tens, no, hundreds of thousands of more lives through my work in Christian radio. The enemy had a plot to derail me but God had a plan to keep me on track.
God-tracking is being strong and not giving up.

Don’t Give Up, Look Up & Pray
“Dear Lord, I will be strong and not give up, for you will reward the work of my hands.”
“O Lord, I’m so disillusioned with what has happened recently. It seems the enemy has crept in and pulled the rug from under my feet. And yet, O Lord God, I know that my life is in you. You have a plan and purpose for me to impact many lives for the sake of the gospel. You have a plan and purpose for me to care for the needy and help the destitute. So, I stand strong, not in my own strength, but in the strength of your purposes and plans for my life. Dear Lord, I will be strong and not give up, for you will reward the work of my hands. Amen.”
